November 29, 2018: The Government Spokesperson on Economy and Energy Farrukh Saleem says the government is taking steps to strengthen the national economy by enhancing trade volume with neighboring countries.

Talking to a private news channel, he said the government is gradually overcoming the financial crisis and is successfully managing the pending external payments.

The spokesperson said the government's top priority is to minimize the financial losses of national institutions and to improve their performance.
