Govt decision to open small businesses to mitigate sufferings of labours: Asad Umar

April 16, 2020: Minister for Planning and Development, Asad Umar says the timely decision of the government to open the construction, horticulture and dry cleaner sectors would help mitigate the sufferings of labour community.

Talking to a private news channel, he said that coronavirus and lockdown had deprived the daily-wage workers of employment.

He said the government is well aware of the genuine needs of the low-income group and keeping in view the present crisis, there is dire need to open up construction industry, and other small business sectors.
