Gold rates surge by Rs4,500 per tola

December 27, 2022 (MLN): The price of 24-karat gold in the domestic bullion market moved up by Rs4,500 per tola to Rs182,700 per tola on Tuesday, the data issued by Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Association showed.

As per the data, the price of 10-gram of 24k gold also increased by Rs3,858 and was traded at Rs156,636 while the 10gm 22k gold was recorded at Rs143,583 compared to Rs140,046 reported yesterday.

On the other hand, the price of 24-karat and 10-gram silver clocked in at Rs2,050 and Rs1,757.54, respectively, the association reported.

Precious gold in the international increased by $12 and was traded at $1,810, and silver rate increased by $24.24, it added.
