CPI Preview: Inflation to fall to around 17% YoY in April

Gold rates slump to Rs 112,700 per tola

November 19, 2020 (MLN): Gold prices slipped today in domestic bullion market as the price of 24 karat gold dropped  by Rs 100 to Rs 112,700 from Rs 112,800 recorded a day earlier.

According to the data released by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram gold also plummeted by Rs.86 to to Rs 96,622 agaisnt the price of Rs 96,708 reported yesterday. 

On the other hand, the price of per tola silver and 10-gram silver remained flat at Rs 1,200 and Rs 1,028.80 respectively, the association reported.

Likewise, gold price in international markets also witnessed fall due to strong US dollar. The price of gold went down by $16 to $1,859 per ounce while silver was pegged at $23.9 an ounce.
