Gold prices remain unchanged in Pakistan

August 12, 2024 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan remained unchanged on Monday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs256,500 per tola.

It is worth noting that the price has been kept Rs2,500 below its actual cost today.

Last week, the yellow metal edged lower by Rs300 per tola.

The Karachi Sarafa Association reported the price of 24-karat gold at Rs219,907 per 10-gram, unchanged from the previous session.

Similarly, the price of 22-karat gold was quoted at Rs201,582 per 10-gram.

Silver prices also remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs2,850 per tola and Rs2,443 per 10-gram.

On the global front, spot gold traded near $2,440 an ounce, up $12.6 or 0.52% from the previous session.
