March 22, 2021 (MLN): Gold prices tumbled on Monday dented by broad-based US dollar strength as investors flocked to the greenback for safety amid fears of overheating and Turkey’s sudden sacking of the central bank Chief. The gold prices in the international market came down by US $10 and traded at US $1,735 per ounce while silver was valued at US $25.68 an ounce.

The yellow metal prices also plunged in the domestic bullion market. The price of 24 karat gold fell by Rs 700 to Rs 107,300 in the market. Likewise, the price of 10-gram gold also dropped by Rs 601 to Rs 91,992.

On the other hand, the price of silver remained static as 24-Karat silver per tola and 10-gram were available at Rs 1,370 and Rs 1,174.55 respectively, data provided by Karachi Sarafa Association revealed.
