Gold price in Pakistan rises Rs7,800 per tola

May 05, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Monday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs350,000 per tola, up Rs7,800.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs300,068 after a gain of Rs6,687, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs275,072 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,425 per tola (+Rs43) and Rs2,936 per 10-gram (+Rs37).

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,314 an ounce, up $66.1 or 2.04% from the previous session.

Gold prices rose more than 1% on Monday, helped by a weaker dollar, with investors looking forward to more details on the U.S.-China trade negotiations and the Federal Reserve's policy meeting later this week.
