Gold price in Pakistan rises Rs700 per tola

March 05, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Wednesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs307,000 per tola, up Rs700.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs263,203 after a gain of Rs601, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs241,278 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,369 per tola (+Rs54) and Rs2,888 per 10-gram (+Rs46).

Globally, spot gold traded near $2,917 an ounce, up $3.3 or 0.11% from the previous session.

Gold prices edged higher on Wednesday, aided by a weaker U.S. dollar and political uncertainty following the latest import tariffs announced by U.S. President Donald Trump.
