Gold price in Pakistan rises Rs500 per tola

April 03, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Thursday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs325,500 per tola, up Rs500.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs279,063 after a gain of Rs428, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs255,817 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,580 per tola and Rs3,069 per 10-gram.

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,105 an ounce, down $57 or 1.80% from the previous session.

Gold fell more than 2% on Thursday, easing from an all-time high, as a wider market selloff triggered by U.S. President Donald Trump's import tariffs infected bullion traders.
