Gold price in Pakistan rises Rs300 per tola

May 20, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs342,800 per tola, up Rs300.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs293,895 after a gain of Rs257, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs269,413 per 10-gram.

On the other hand, silver prices remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,410 per tola and Rs2,923 per 10-gram.

Globally, spot gold traded near $3,247 an ounce, up $24.9 or 0.77% from the previous session.

Gold prices eked out gains on Tuesday, buoyed by a lower dollar, while investors cautiously turned their attention to further developments in Russia-Ukraine peace talks and U.S. tariff policy.
