Gold price in Pakistan rises Rs1,500 per tola

February 24, 2025 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan increased on Monday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs309,500 per tola, up Rs1,500.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs265,346 after a gain of Rs1,286, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted higher at Rs243,242 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices rose in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs3,395 per tola (+Rs15) and Rs2,910 per 10-gram (+Rs13).

Globally, spot gold traded near $2,944 an ounce, up $7.7 or 0.26% from the previous session.

Gold prices edged up to hover near recent record highs on Monday, helped by weakness in the U.S. dollar, with attention shifting to a key U.S. inflation report set for release later this week.
