Gold price in Pakistan remained unchanged

June 07, 2024 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan remained unchanged on Friday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs243,000 per tola, unchanged from the previous session.

It is worth noting that the price has been kept a significant Rs4,000 below its actual cost today due to a reduction in purchasing power.

The Karachi Sarafa Association reported the price of 24-karat gold at Rs208,333 per tola per 10-gram, unchanged from the previous session.

Similarly, the price of 22-karat gold was quoted at Rs190,972 per 10-gram.

Silver prices also remained unchanged in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs2,800 per tola and Rs2,401 per 10-gram.

On the global front, spot gold traded near $2,310 an ounce, down $66.6 or 2.80% from the previous session.
