Gold extends losses, falls by Rs 100 to Rs 110,200 per tola

February 18, 2021 (MLN): In tandem with the decline in global rates, gold prices in the domestic billion market extended losses on Thursday, as the per tola price of 24 karat gold plunged further by Rs 100 to sold at Rs 110,200 against the price of Rs 110,300 reported yesterday.

Likewise, 10-grams of 24 karat gold also witnessed a fall of Rs 86 to settle at Rs94,478 against the previous close of RS 94,564, data provided by All Sindh Sarah Jewellers Association revealed.

However, the price of single tola 24-karat silver and 10-gram of 24karat silver remained static at Rs 1,380 and Rs 1,183.12 respectively.

In the international market, the price of gold plummeted by USD 4 and was available at USD 1,785 an ounce against USD 1,789 an ounce on the previous session, while silver was valued at Rs 27.20 an ounce, the associated reported.
