April 5, 2021 (MLN): Gold prices edged lower on Monday amid muted global cues, as the price of 24 karat gold in the domestic bullion market dropped by Rs.950 to Rs.104,450 per tola. Likewise, the price of 10-gram gold also witnessed a dip of Rs.814 to settle at Rs.89,550 against the previous close of Rs 90,878 per gram.

According to the data provided by the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, the single tola of 24-karat silver and 10-gram of 24-karat silver remained static at Rs.1,360 per tola and Rs.1,165.98 per gram respectively.

In the international market, a strong US dollar and higher bond yields put pressure on gold as it went down by US$5 and traded at US$1,726 while silver was valued at US$24.88, the association reported.
