Gold price in Pakistan falls Rs3,800 per tola

September 17, 2026 (MLN): Gold price in Pakistan decreased on Thursday, with 24-karat gold being sold at Rs453,436 per tola, down Rs3,800.

Similarly, 24-karat gold per 10-gram was sold at Rs388,749 after a decline of Rs3,257, according to rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

The price of 22-karat gold was also quoted lower at Rs356,364 per 10-gram.

Similarly, silver prices fell in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver being sold at Rs6,869 per tola (-Rs73) and Rs5,889 per 10-gram (-Rs62).

Globally, spot gold traded near $4,326 an ounce, up $54.6 or 1.28% from the previous session, as markets weighed the U.S. Federal Reserve's latest rate hike and signals that more tightening could be on the way, even as an earlier surge in oil prices began to fade.
