Gold edges higher by Rs500 in domestic bullion

November 1, 2021 (MLN): Gold snapped its losing streak today as the price of 24-karat gold moved up by Rs500 to close at Rs117,800 per tola.

According to the data provided by Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Association, the price of 10-gram of 24k gold also increased by Rs429 and was traded at Rs100,995 while the 10gm 22k gold was valued at Rs92,578.

On the other hand, the price of 24-karat silver and 10-gram of 24-karat silver remained unchanged at Rs1,440 and Rs1,234.56 respectively.

In the international market, gold remained range-bound, up by only $1 to $1,784 an ounce as investors are eyeing the upcoming FED meeting. while the silver was traded at $23.88 per ounce.
