Gold edges higher by Rs2,500 per tola

November 24, 2021 (MLN): Gold edged higher on Friday in the domestic bullion market as the price of 24-karat gold surged by Rs2,500 to close at Rs124,100 per tola, the data provided by Karachi Sarafa and Jewellers Association showed.

The price of 10-gram of 24k gold also increased by Rs2,144 and was traded at Rs106,396 while the 10gm 22k gold was valued at Rs97,530.

On the other hand, the price of 24-karat silver and 10-gram of 24-karat silver remained unchanged at Rs1,460 and Rs1,251.71 respectively.

Internationally, non-interest-bearing gold slumped by $9 to $1,788 an ounce due to the rise in Treasury yields.
