Gold closes at Rs 93,750 per tola, lower by Rs 700

February 28, 2020 (MLN): Following the downward pattern, the valuable yellow metal witnessed a decrease in demand as it lost Rs 700 in today’s session to conclude at Rs 93,750 per tola i.e. almost 1.06% lower than yesterday’s close in the local market.

According to the Karachi Sarafa Association, gold price per 10 gram clocked in at Rs 80,376, down by Rs 600 from Rs 81,233 per 10 in the previous trade.

On the other hand, the silver prices remained flat and closed at Rs 1,020 per 12 gram. Similarly, 10-gram silver pegged at Rs 874.5.

In the global market, gold prices went down by $18 to $1,648 per ounce, while silver was valued at $17.22 per ounce.
