FM Qureshi paying 4-day visit to China from today

March 18, 2019: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi is paying a four-day visit to China from today, to attend the First Pakistan-China Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue.

A Foreign Office press statement said both sides will hold comprehensive discussions on the entire range of bilateral relations, including China Pakistan Economic Corridor and also discuss regional situation and cooperation at multilateral fora.

During the visit, Foreign Minister will address Political Parties Forum on CPEC and participate in the ruling parties’ dialogue between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Communist Party of China.

He will also call on the Chinese leadership.

In a video message, the Foreign Minister said China is time tested friend of Pakistan and supported Islamabad on every critical time.

He said the time has come to hold consultation with China and make a joint strategy for future.
