Finance Division releases additional Rs17.4bn to ECP for polls

December 05, 2023 (MLN): The Finance Division has released Rs17.4 billion to Election Commission of Pakistan in addition to Rs10bn released in July 2023 for conduct of general elections in the country, the divion said in a post on X (formerly known as Twitter).

This brings the total released amount to Rs27.4bn for holding general elections.

Finance Division remains committed to provision of funds as and when required by the Election Commission of Pakistan.
