Fertilizer offtake jumps by 22.9%, YoY in October

November 26, 2018 (MLN): Total nutrient offtake during October 2018 was about 593 thousand tonnes which increased by 22.9 per cent over the same time frame of 2017.

As per the data provided by National Fertilizer Development Centre (NFDC), out of these 593 thousand tonnes sold, the largest share of sales were made for nitrogen (330 thousand tonnes) while the least amount of sales were made for potash (6300 tonnes).

Nitrogen offtake increased by 21.5 per cent and phosphate Offtake by 26.4 per cent. Meanwhile, potash offtake decreased by 18.8 per cent over October 2017.
