FBR extends final date for filing annual tax return till April 30

March 31, 2019 (MLN): The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has extended the last date for filing income tax return up to April 30, 2019 for the tax year 2018.

Earlier, the date for filing tax returns was supposed to end on March 31^st, 2019. This is the fifth extension in the Filing date by the FBR.

According to the Income Tax circular issued on Sunday, the date of filing of returns of total income / statement of final taxation which were due on August 31, 2018 and extended up to March 31, 2019 has been further extended to April 30, 2019.

Moreover, the date of filing of returns of total income / statement of final taxation for companies, individuals and association of persons which were due on September 30, 2018 and extended up to March 31, 2019 has been further extended to April 30, 2019.

The date of filing of returns of total income / statement of final taxation for companies which were due on December 31, 2018 and extended up to March 31, 2019 has been further extended to April 30, 2019.
