FBR extends date to file sales tax return up to July 20

July 15, 2022 (MLN): The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Friday extended the last date for filing monthly sales tax return up to July 20, 2022.

The revenue body, through a notification, announced the extension in date of payment and submission of sales tax and federal excise return for all taxpayers for the tax period June 2022.

Earlier, on Thursday, Karachi Tax Bar Association (KTBA) requested FBR to extend the date of filing of quarterly income tax withholding statement and monthly sales tax return for the tax period of June 2022 till July 31, 2022.
