The notification also listed the conditions for the ban, which include that it will not apply to the transit cargo already arrived at Pakistani ports or to the cargo meant for foreign aid to Afghanistan.

Some of the items that have been banned under the new notification include Fabrics with 17 different HS codes, Tyres, three types of Black tea, 14 different types of Cosmetics and toiletries, Nuts and fruits with 14 different HS codes, Vaccume flask, and Home appliances CBUs with 49 different HS codes.

These goods included confectionaries & chocolates, footwear, mechanical and electrical machinery, blankets, and home textile products, and garments under the Afghan transit trade.
