F-8 interchange completion set for Feb 18

February 11, 2025 (MLN): The F-8 Jinnah Avenue Interchange project is set for completion by February 18, as directed by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi during his visit.

He inspected the finishing work on the under-construction flyover and instructed that it be 100% completed within the deadline.

The Interior Minister emphasized the swift completion of all project components, particularly the connecting roads and landscaping.

He also met with the workers on-site and appreciated their hard work, according to the press release issued today.

The workers informed him that they were working around the clock to meet the deadline, to which he praised their dedication and encouraged them to continue their efforts.

Naqvi ordered the immediate removal of debris around the project site and stressed that any shortcomings in the beautification work would not be tolerated.

He also instructed that work on the connecting roads under the flyover be expedited to ensure timely completion.

Federal Secretary of Interior Muhammad Khurram Agha, Chairman CDA Mohammad Ali Randhawa, IG Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi, Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Irfan Memon, contractors, and other relevant officials were also present during the visit.

The project director briefed the Interior Minister on the progress of the interchange.
