March 1, 2021 (MLN): The overall exports from Pakistan have crossed the USD 2 billion mark for 5th consecutive month, Ministry of Commerce announced on Monday.

The country’s exports for the month of Feb-2021 (28 days) stand at USD 2,044 million, as compared to USD 2,140 million recorded in Feb-2020 (29 days), showing a decline of 4.5%.

For 8-months (Jul-Feb 2021) of the current financial year, the overall exports have increased by 4.2% to USD 16,300 million, as compared to USD 15,643 million during Jul-Feb 2020.

Taking to his twitter handle to share the details, the Advisor to PM on Commerce and Industry, Abdul Razzak Dawood congratulated the exporters for their hard work in earning the foreign exchange for the country and urged them to market their exports even more aggressively.
