ECC allows export of 300,000 mtons of urea

Economic Coordination Committee has approved exports of another 300,000 metric tons of urea by December 2017 owing to ample production of the product.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar chaired the ECC meeting on Tuesday as approved export of 300,000 metric tons of urea. The commodity could be exported till December 2017. Earlier the government has approved 300,000 metric tons of urea owing to ample production.
ECC also approved Ramzan package for Rs 1.60 billion of this 19 essential items would be sold on cheaper rate to fulfill the demand of the consumers.
The products which include in the list which are essential ones are Sugar, Tea, Dates, Basi, flour and all kind of pulses.
