FBR launches nationwide audit of urea dealers to ensure tax compliance

June 25, 2024 (MLN): The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) of Pakistan has initiated a countrywide exercise for conducting an audit of Urea/ Fertilizers dealers to ensure that they pay the correct amount of income tax on their earnings.

According to a press statement released yesterday, notices have been issued for audit to a total number of 437 cases.

Moreover, the proceedings are on hand and shall shortly be finalized.

Besides the above, notices to all non-filers have also been issued by the concerned Inland Revenue Field Formations.
