ECC allocates Rs26.11bn for ministries

ECC dismisses reports of delay in wheat procurement targets

June 08, 2023 (MLN): The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the cabinet on Wednesday allocated Rs26.11 billion for ministries, said a press release issued on the same day.

Of the total Rs26.11bn, Rs1bn is allocated in favor of the Ministry of Housing and Works for development schemes in Punjab Province under (SAP) during FY2022-23.

In addition, Rs14.80bn is in favor of the Ministry of Housing and Works for development schemes of FY2022-23.

The Ministry of Housing and Works is granted Rs1209.450m for the execution of 15 development schemes of FY2022-23.

A sum of Rs5bn is allocated in favor of the Cabinet Division for Sustainable Development Goals Achievement Programme (SAP) during FY2022-23

The Ministry of Energy (Power Division) is granted Rs1.77bn for the execution of development schemes of Punjab and KP provinces under PSDP during FY2022-23

Furthermore, Rs3.96bn  is granted to the Ministry of Federal Education & Professional Training under WB Project – Higher Education Development in Pakistan for 2022-23.

The Ministry of Narcotics Control as TSG is allocated Rs130m for FY2022-23.

The Ministry of Narcotics Control for Operational Cost of Anti-Narcotics Force for the FY2022-23 is allocated Rs8m.

A sum of Rs6m is granted in favor of the Revenue Division to meet the shortfall of the Budget grant of FY2022-23.
