Early Movers: Market nosedives 965 points in the first half hour, PMPK, SAPL, INDU, HINO and WYETH all decline

KSE-100 index has lost more than 950 points since open as investors await the news from Supreme Court on the future of Pakistan’s Prime Minister Mr. Nawaz Sharif. The market is on a downward trajectory, continues to lose more and more points with every passing minute as the time for the decision gets closer and closer.

The markets have been relatively un-moved in the last two sessions, as the investors have been waiting for a verdict from the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court is expected to announce a verdict on the disqualification case today.

Companies who have lost most since morning are; Phillip Morris Pakistan -138.50, Sanofi-Aventis Pakistan Limited -83.00, Indus Motors Pakistan -68.06, Hinopak Motors Limited -51.64 and Wyeth Pakistan -49.04.

Total volume traded since open: 57.2 million.

Total Value traded since the markets opened: 3.12 billion.

Total trades carried out amount to 22,926.
