PSX to host IFRS sustainability workshop

July 18, 2024 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited (PSX) has scheduled to host a training workshop for listed companies on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Sustainability Disclosure Standards on July 23, 2024.

This workshop is a collaborative initiative between PSX and UN Sustainable Stock Exchanges (SSE) Initiative, said a notice issued by PSX on Thursday.

The workshop is designed to help listed companies broadly understand IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards S1 & S2 and to build their capacity for consistent global adoption of these standards.

To note, attendance is mandatory from listed companies. "Key professionals, particularly those involved in financial reporting, corporate sustainability, and strategic planning must represent their company in this training workshop," the notice reads.
