Dawood Hercules profits rise by 763.63 percent to Rs. 3.848 billion

Dawood Hercules (DAWH) today announced financial results for the three months period ending 31 March, 2018 reporting Dividend Income at Rs. 648.818 million; a decrease of 16.81 percent. Furthermore, the company’s Gross Profit rose to Rs. 531.350 billion from Rs. 667.166 million last year during the outgoing three months.
On the expenses front, DAWH reported 4.21 percent increase in Administrative Expenses, 20.10 percent increase in Finance Costs.
Furthermore, DAWH also reported a mammoth 1113948.01 percent increase in Other Income reaching Rs. 3.642 billion during the three months.
Dawood Hercules reported profit after taxation at Rs. 3.848 billion against Rs. 445.571 million during the same period last year translating into an EPS of Rs. 8.0 vs. an EPS of Rs. 0.93 during the three months ending March, 2017.
