Dandot Cement’s shareholders approve an increase in share capital by Rs4bn

May 17, 2021 (MLN): The shareholders of Dandot Cement Company Limited have approved to increase the authorized share capital of the company from Rs1billion divided into 100 million shares of Rs10 each to Rs5billion divided into 500 million shares of Rs10 each.

The members further resolved that the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of the Company be and is hereby singly authorized to take all necessary steps and execute documents including legal and corporate formalities and file all requisite documents with Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan as may be necessary or expedient for the purpose of giving effect to the spirit and intent of the above resolutions.

The above resolutions were passed by shareholders at Extra-Ordinary General Meeting (EOGM) held on May 11, 2021, whereby they also made the necessary amendments to the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Company.
