Cherat Packaging operationalizes its flexible packaging division

October 03, 2018 (MLN): Cherat Packaging Limited has successfully commenced production at its flexible packaging division, revealed an official statement by the company, issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX).

With this, the company has become the first company in Pakistan to have installed Extrusion, Roto/Flexo printers and cylinder/ plate making machines at the same time.

CPL ventured into Flexible Packaging in late August, 2017 as a part of its diversification strategy, having recognized the potential that this growing field has and keeping one eye on its fast evolving consumer market.

Leaving no stone unturned in ensuring the best execution of its latest project, CPL invested in high quality equipment which were ordered from leading machine suppliers of this industry.

The plant has been installed at Gadoon Amazai, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for which the company had acquired an 8 acre land near its existing factory. The total cost of the project is around Rs.1.7 billion.
