CCoIGCT allows negotiations on agreement between UAE, Pakistan for bulk, general cargo terminal at KPT

July 20, 2023 (MLN): The Cabinet Committee on Inter-Governmental Commercial Transactions (CCoIGCT) on Wednesday allowed negotiations on the G2G agreement between the Governments of UAE & Pakistan, said a press release issued by Finance division on the same day.

The summary regarding the framework agreement was tabled by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs.

In addition to the aforementioned development, the CCoIGCT constituted a committee comprised of Secretary Law & Justice, Secretary Maritime Affairs, representatives from Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Finance to negotiate the draft framework agreement with the Government of UAE.

Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired the said meeting.
