Budget FY24 to bring economic prosperity to all sectors: Ishaq Dar

May 23, 2023 (MLN): The government is committed to ensure that the new budget brings economic prosperity for all sectors of the economy, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar said while chairing a meeting on budgetary proposals presented by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

He ensured that the resources will be distributed equitably among various sectors, said a press release issued on Monday.

Ishaq Dar also reiterated the resolve of the government to provide a business and people-friendly budget.

Chairman FBR Mr. Asim Ahmad gave a detailed presentation on budgetary proposals for the Federal Budget 2023-24 which were discussed in detail.

Minister for States for Finance and Revenue Dr. Ayesha Ghous Pasha, SAPM on Finance Mr. Tariq Bajwa, SAPM on Revenue Mr. Tariq Mehmood Pasha, Chairman RRMC Mr. Ashfaq Yousuf Tola, Secretary Finance, Chairman FBR, and other senior officers from Finance Division and FBR attended the meeting.
