Bank AL Habib receives authorization to close Kenya office

May 06, 2025 (MLN): Bank AL Habib (PSX: BAHL) has received authorization from the Central Bank of Kenya to close its Representative Office in Kenya, following the In-Principle clearance earlier granted by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

The Central Bank of Kenya has instructed the Bank to surrender the office's license upon completion of all compliance requirements, the notification issued to the local bourse.

This decision aligns with the Bank’s strategy and will not have any material impact on its overall operating and financial position.
