Attock cement commences operations at newly constructed plant in Iraq

September 2, 2019 (MLN): Attock Cement Pakistan Limited (ACPL) has officially commenced operations at their Iraqi Cement Grinding Unit as commercial production at their newly constructed plant in Basra, Iraq began from September 1, 2019.
At the beginning of the year 2019, ACPL announced in official notification to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), that all the civil, mechanical and electrical jobs on the Iraq Project had reached completion and the plant was at commissioning stage.
The trial production at the plant begun later in April 2019.
