Youth plays vital role in growing economy of country: IT Minister

November 20, 2022 (MLN): Around 60% of the Pakistan population is youth, and youth can play a vital role by participating in growing economy of the country, IT Minister Syed Amin Ul Haque said in a ceremony of Pakistan Social Media Association (PSMA) at Newports Institute of Communications and Economics Karachi on Sunday.

The Federal Minister of IT and Telecom applauded the role of Ms. Huma, Chairperson of the Newports Institute of Communications and Economics Karachi for hosting the ceremony and playing front role in digital media.

During the conference, he encouraged the influencers and you tubers, and said that proper trainings will be provided as well as the appropriate forums for the startups will also be provided to facilitate the influencers, vloggers and you tubers in every possible manner.

He further said that the young generation should adapt the policy of merit and hard work if they want to live a successful life. Syed Amin ul Haque, appraising the performance of Ministry of IT, said that we had spent around Rs60 million on connectivity last year and we have provided connectivity to every city of the country irrespective of any race, color or politics.

We have launched mobile phone manufacturing industry in Pakistan despite several threats and 22 mobile phone manufacturing companies are working in Pakistan.
