APL rebuts news pertaining to market share

February 3, 2022 (MLN): The management of Attack Petroleum Limited (APL), in response to a news article published by a renowned newspaper today which stated that the market share of Attack Petroleum Limited (APL) deteriorated to 1.6 percent in January 2022, termed incorrectly, the company filing on PSX showed today.

The figures do not reflect the factual market share of the company, the notification added.

The management further noted that the share price of the company is not affected, in any manner, due to incorrect information being reported in the subject news article.

Further, it is to ensure that the members of the exchange, shareholders of the company, potential investors and the general public do not make any investment decision based on this incorrect information.

The company has already approached that newspaper for publication of rebuttal/correction of subject news, it said.
