All prize bonds worth Rs40,000 to be registered till 2020: Chairman FBR

June 24, 2019: Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Shabbar Zaidi has said all the prize bonds worth 40,000 rupees would be registered till 2020.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the unregistered prize bonds will be considered useless if not registered.
The Chairman said the prize bonds of 948 billion rupees are still unregistered in the country and hectic efforts are being made to register them.
Meanwhile, he said the present amnesty scheme is focusing to unearth illegal and concealed properties.
He assured that the country’s institutions will not create hurdles for beneficiaries of the scheme.
