All FBR offices to open on Saturdays to help meet budgetary targets

All the offices of the Inland Revenue and Large Tax Payers unit would be opened on every Saturday starting May 13 to June 30, 2017.

According to the notification of the Federal Board of Revenue all the offices of the Federal Board of Revenue would be opened on every Saturday. The decision has been taken by the FBR to open the offices has been to meet the budgetary target set by the government to meet the revenue collection set for this year.

Revenue collection reaches Rs 2.260 trillion in the nine months of the current fiscal year while the revenue collection target for the whole year was set at Rs 3.6 trillion.
