AHTM successfully commissions 988.9 KWP solar system financed by ABL

March 11, 2022 (MLN): Ahmad Textile Mills Limited has successfully commissioned a solar system having a rated capacity of 988.9 KWP on January 27, 2022. This project is financed by Allied Bank Limited under the SBP financing scheme for renewable energy, the company’s filing on bourse showed today.
On one hand, the project is designed to reduce energy costs significantly and on the other hand reliance of the company on gas gen-set will alleviate considerable, especially in the perspective of depletion of reserve of natural gas in the country.
This project is also a valuable contribution towards the government policy of Clean Green Pakistan. Due to the non-emission of any hazardous substance, it will play a pivotal role in the reduction of pollution in the country.
Furthermore, the company is also in negotiation with banks for the installation of an additional 500 KWP project, the notice said.
