U. S. A. leads as top export destination for Pakistan in Jun

July 21, 2025 (MLN): The U. S. A. remained the top export destination for Pakistan during June, with $475.6 million worth of shipments, up by 7% against the exports of $444.59m in same period last year.
According to the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan, this was followed by China, as Pakistan exported goods worth $206.88m to the country as compared to the exports of $153.77m recorded during the same month of the previous year, depicting a rise of 34.5%.
U. K. was the third on the list as Pakistan generated export revenue worth $175.21m from the country. This figure was up by 15.6% from the exports of $151.55m in the same period last year.
Germany was the fourth in line as exports to the region during the aforementioned period were $138.5m, depicting an increase of 5.1% YoY.
Among other countries, Pakistan's exports to the Spain stood at $127.92m, marking a rise of 10.7% YoY, while exports to U. A. E. Dubai decreased by 23.9% YoY to $126.2m.
Moreover, the export receipts received from Netherlands (Holland) stood at $107.76m, down by 2.2% YoY.
While on a sequential basis, the total exports to U. S. A. dropped by 7.9% MoM. While exports to China increased by 3.7% MoM.
Moreover, receipts received from exports to U. K. depicted an increase of 1.8% MoM.
Meanwhile, cumulatively, in 12MFY26, U. S. A. was the top source of export receipts, worth $6.03bn as against the total exports worth $5.44bn in 12MFY25.
Whereas, total exports to China in 12MFY26 stood at $2.48bn, registering a decline of -8.6%.
Cumulatively, U. K. ranked as the third-largest contributor to the country's export earnings, accounting for exports valued at $2.16bn in 12MFY26, compared to $2.02bn in the same period last year
