Suraj to shut down Nooriabad Unit

September 26, 2025 (MLN): Suraj Cotton Mills Limited (PSX: SURC) has decided to close its Nooriabad Unit after the Board of Directors, in a meeting held today, resolved that the unit had become financially unviable.

The company cited the old and obsolete plant as the primary reason for discontinuing operations at the facility.

The closure decision has been conveyed to shareholders and market participants in line with regulatory requirements.
