SBP reserves increase by over $11m in a week

Aug 15, 2025 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) foreign exchange reserves increased by $11.30 million during the week ended August 8, 2025, reaching $13.09 billion, according to the weekly data from the central bank released today.

Overall, Pakistan’s total liquid foreign reserves inched up by $1.1m or 0.01% to stand at $19.49bn.

Meanwhile, net foreign reserves held by commercial banks fell by $10.20 million to $6.403bn during the week.
