Sitara Chemical asks SECP to extend EOGM deadline

June 12, 2025 (MLN): Sitara Chemical Industries Limited (PSX: SITC) has requested a 10-day extension from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) for holding its Extraordinary General Meeting (EOGM) for the election of directors, initially scheduled by July 28, 2025.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.

The company cited the non-availability of its Chief Executive, who also holds majority shareholding, as the reason for the delay.

Sitara Chemical has proposed to conduct the EOGM by August 7, 2025, and has assured the Exchange that it will provide updates on any further developments.
