SCRA inflows outpace outflows, balance climbs to near Rs29bn

October 03, 2025 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs213.73 million during the week ending Sep 26, 2025 to close at Rs2.8 billion.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net selling of securities to the tune of Rs7.56bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs12.44bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amount was Rs696.12m, sale of securities were recorded at Rs11.43bn while dividend received was Rs312.45m.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs.12.22bn.

Outward remittances were Rs.8.35bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs.3.87bn and total tax paid was Rs8.79m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs10.1bn, Rs-3.04bn and Rs.0.12m to close at Rs.744.18bn, Rs.43,76bn and Rs.18.60bn.
