SCRA ends week above Rs27bn

May 08, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs.852.73m during the week ending May 01, 2026 to close at Rs.27.59bn.
According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a
net buying of securities to the tune of Rs.10.90bn.
During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs.26.74bn
through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances
amount was Rs.18.10bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs.8.24bn while
dividend received was Rs.401.19m.
Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances,
purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs.27.59bn. Outward
remittances were Rs.6.61bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs.19.13bn
and total tax paid was Rs.1.85bn.
Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS
changed by Rs.-16.49bn, Rs.5.68bn and Rs.-417.16m to close at Rs.608.02bn,
Rs.65.94bn and Rs.26.79bn.
