Pakistan, Egypt should work together for mutual progress, prosperity: FM

August 25, 2021: Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin says Pakistan and Egypt should work together on the economic front for mutual progress and prosperity.

Talking to Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt Tarek Mohamed Dahroug in Islamabad yesterday, he said both countries enjoy brotherly relations for a long period and Pakistan desires to further strengthen economic and business cooperation.

Both also agreed to work on the idea of establishing a Pakistan-Egypt Business Council and forging closer collaboration between the Ministries of Finance of both countries.

The Ambassador thanked the Finance Minister and expressed a firm commitment to making measured progress for further strengthening business and economic linkages between the two countries.
